AEH RoHS Compliance
All Electronics Hardware, Inc (AEH) is committed to being a provider of environmentally friendly products to the global marketplace.
The European Union (EU) has adopted the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC now commonly referred to as RoHS. This RoHS Directive restricts the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), and polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) in electronic and electrical products as of July 1, 2006.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment European Parliament Directive 2002/96/EC now commonly referred to as WEEE has established recovery, reuse and recycling targets for ten specific categories of waste as defined by WEEE. The requirements of this Directive are to be met by December 31, 2006.
All Electronics Hardware (AEH) will strive for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the RoHS and WEEE Directives. In conjunction with our internal goals of compliance AEH has implemented a process which requires each of our suppliers to certify compliance with the applicable Directives and confirm that the raw materials, components and products supplied to AEH do not contain banned substances or hazardous materials.
As these initiatives are in progress and are part of a very aggressive time line we ask that you please contact us with questions regarding any specific product compliance documentation requirements that you may have that are not currently addressed in our catalog or on our website.
